Now we have yet another serial bomb blast in another Indian city, Jaipur. Now another round of blame game will be played. The state govt will blame the center; the center will blame the state. The police will blame the intelligence, and they will in turn blame the police and so on……….but are we going to see and end to the real problem of terrorism?
Let’s analyze why we are so ineffective against terrorism.
The govt’s assumption that an ordinary Indian Muslim is against the unity and integrity of the country. The govt assumes that majority of Indian Muslims believe in terrorist activities and these are the reason why the govt will loose votes of Muslims if they act tough against the terrorist. Now its up to the moderate muslim youth of these country to show it to the govt that their community is no way supportive of the terrorism. Can we expect these from the educated Indian Muslim youth of 21st India?
The 2nd reason why we are not effective is the corruption in every layer of the Indian society. Forget about the politicians, we anyway don’t expect honesty from them, but even Indian army Jawans who are posted in the border outpost are corrupt as well. I know of cases where the BSF has helped Bangladeshis to cross over to India in return of few hundred rupees.
I believe these two are the main reasons why India is bleeding today. But it’s not too late now. We can still act to stop this menace. The solution as I can see is simple.
We must complete the electric wire fencing in our border with Bangladesh to seal the border. It must be done on a priority basis
Before blaming Bangladesh for sending terrorist and illegal migrants to India, lets ask our self, why can’t we seal our border with that country if they are sending terrorist to India?
The sealing of Bangladesh border is going on for years now and I don’t thing at this rate it will never be completed.
The only reason why the border sealing has not been completed is that, if we seal our border with that country where will the voters come from who will vote for Congress in Assam?
The Congress has destroyed Assam over the last few decades and now the whole of India is facing the same fate……………May be India has to pay this price for neglecting the plight of one of its states for so long………….
